11500 Yamato Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33498

Multi-Sport

At a sprawling but easily navigable 848 acres, Burt Aaronson South County Regional is among the most versatile sports facilities in Palm Beach County. This comprehensive gem in Palm Beach County’s park system includes four lighted baseball fields of varying dimensions (200/200/198, 344/348/346, 296/297/299, and 198/198/198), four lighted softball fields (298/297/294, 296/297/294, 297/299/297, and 297/297/297), five lighted multipurpose fields, 12 lighted racquetball courts, 19 tennis courts operated by the Rick Macci Tennis Center, and five volleyball courts—two on sand, three paved. With its nearly five miles of walking/running paths, Burt Aaronson has hosted the Spartan Endurance Race, Conference USA Cross-Country Championships, and the Sunshine State Conference Gold Championships. The park also is home to the lush Osprey Point Golf Course, a 27-hole layout of three nine-hole courses that regularly ranks among the top 50 public golf courses in America. Water skiers enjoy the thrill of making waves at the on-site Water Ski Training Center, where up-and-coming and accomplished skiers hone their chops. Another favorite on-site attraction, the Coconut Cove Waterpark, is popular with families, while the park’s Sunset Cove Amphitheater welcomes nationally touring bands and local entertainment alike. The park also has opportunities for canoeing, cycling, fishing, kayaking, basketball, handball, diving and swimming.
