Ace the competition with toes in the sand at this unique al fresco facility, where beach tennis and beach volleyball take center stage to soundtrack of lapping waves and the feeling of temperate Florida breezes. Operated by the city of Riviera Beach, the municipal venue offers two tennis courts, five beach volleyball courts, a playground, pavilions, picnic tables, barbecue grills, benches, bike racks, showers and three open sand areas for activities. The Municipal Beach is host to soccer and volleyball tournaments as well as 5K/10K races and triathlons, and the location is also ideal for surfing and kayaking events. There are men’s and women’s restrooms on the north and south ends of the park. A cabana service is on site to offer chair and umbrella rentals. The Municipal Beach is located right next to the Ocean Mall, which offers restaurants, shops and a convenience store; and Riviera Beach Marina Village, a meetings and event venue where water sports and boat charters are beloved by visitors and locals alike.
